Help me spin a web, Spiderman!

Yesterday, I shouldn't have ran. I could've walked onto the campus, you know pleasantly, before being sent right back out with to interview the Lamborghini showcase just down the street. That was a hoot.

I had a chance to talk to the entire salesmen, who also happened to be models from a Calvin Klein catalog. As they talked, they seemed cool, laid-back in their professional attire, and after 1 1/2 hours, an angry Audi customer came in (Audi and Lamborghini are on the same car lot)! I learned plenty about the high-end auto business, and they answered my questions without any problems. Kate drove me to Lexus, and I got myself acquainted with their new hybrids. I later got the chance to talk to Barbara Gillman, who gave me great insight on why her Prius rules! :P

When I returned to FIU, contacting Hummer was almost barely dodging a bullet. The first Hummer dealer was very keen in not answering my questions, such as how many cars they sold monthly on average, which were easily accessible when I talked to other dealers. The more I rethink the conversation, the more I think his supervisor was there.

From much of my interviewing yesterday, today I focused on working on my copy. At first it was tough to think of a lead (I didn’t know why!) but I was able to generate one before heading off to say a quick high to the lunch lady. It was a little crappy. I begged for someone to tear it apart and Spiderman (literally) came to the rescue. Mat Pinzur totally resembles Toby Maguire.

Tomorrow is our first deadline for our final draft, and I’ll be delighted once it’s turned in for the weekend.
